Morro de Sao Paulo may be small, but it is fully equipped in what concerns gastronomy and boasts a famed and intense night life.
If you plan to spend some relaxing days, you can spend your evenings enjoying the sunset and then heading to the village for a good dinner in one of the many restaurants that offer something for every taste.
In the evenings, a small handcraft and art fair is held at the main square, and local musicians meet at "Pastel do Fon" to play acoustic Brazilian music. You can appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, with people coming and going, and see a little of the local culture and make friends.
If, on the other hand, you plan to go out all night, you won't have anything to complain. It's wise to take some time off and rest until midnight before heading to one of the several discos in the village and on the beaches, where the serious action picks up between midnight and 1 AM, and then lasts until the morning.
You can be certain that there'll be at least one party every night.
